right after i returned to my laptop at home (which i brough with me to the city with hopes of getting ideas for songs - plans which were halted as i forgot to bring an aux cable for my headphones(they had bluetooth, but the delay was awful.))
i started making the first song; FFFFBD |
| when i was in the city i discovered humfree,it by bogdan raczynski (i am clearly very inspired by his music) and i did the thing i do whenever i hear a new song i really like - try to make a simmilar song. this is how all of my releases were made |
| anyway, because i didnt bring an aux, i couldnt do shit until i returned home, and within a week, i made this. i made all the trax up until september 1st, and throughout the month i made tiny little tweaks until i decided to release it on october 20th |
| i personally think this is my best work under this alias, i like my other releases, but i like this one the most, idk why. kuschian summit is a lot more bogdan influenced, and i like to think that this one is less of that. of course there is still a shit ton of the influence but i think its toned down here a bit. |
| i thought of the title in summer of 2023, i was checking out our recent gas tank installation that was underground, theres this little thing you can open and you get access to some things, and on the side of a box it said "cathodic protection" and i thought that sounded cool. i was going to release some old shit music with that album name, but im glad i didnt! so then when i was thinking of names for the album, kuschian summit came to mind, but then i rememebered cathodic protection, so i decided to save kuschian summit for another time and used this instead. |
